Carey Mulligan goes glam in Chanel on the CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Awards Monday, 15 November at NYC's Skylight Soho. The 25 year old British actress was wearing a sequined embroidered dress from the French fashion label's Autumn , Winter Haute Couture Collection.
While Carey was present at the event, she learned that she would be to play Daisy Buchanan in the upcoming Great Gatsby films.
Directed by Baz Luhrmann, the phone rang her to give her the good news, which caused her to burst into tears in front of the designer Karl Lagerfeld and Vogue editor Anna Wintour.
