Bellydance has been approved as a dance form all over the world except India. Banjara intends to change that by promoting it as a professional dance form. The roots of belly dancing is gypsy and tribal dance, and today is regarded as a classical dance form. Thus, Banjara also promotes international, classical, oriental and gypsy dance forms.
