Detlef Schrempf was born on January 21, 1963, in Leverkusen, Federal Republic of Germany. He is a retired German NBA Basketball Player. He moved to the U.S. his senior year of high school, attending Centralia High School in Centralia, Washington, for one year, leading the Tigers to the state title in his senior year in 1981 by defeating the Blazers of Timberline High School.
